This renowned collection at the
Allen County Public
Library, includes more than 350,000 printed
volumes and 513,000 items of microfilm and microfiche.
The Bentley Historical Library was established in 1935 by the
University of Michigan Regents to carry out two functions: to
serve as the official archives of the University and to document
the history of the state of Michigan and the activities of its
people, organizations and voluntary associations.
The Newberry Library provides a home to a world-class collection
of books, manuscripts, and maps, and also to a growing community
of readers. Our collections, spanning many centuries, feature a
wide range of materials, from illuminated medieval manuscripts
to rich genealogical resources, and from early printed books to
the personal papers of Midwest authors. |
